Will the spam filters work with all email address on my domain?
Yes. The filtering is based on the domain name, so every email box will be filtered for viruses and spam.

Do I have to configure my email client?
No. One of the great things about this approach to getting rid of spam is that there is no software to install, no settings to configure and the benefits are apparent right away.

How much will spam be reduced?
So far with the data we have seen, you should see a 90% or better reduction in the amount of spam that arrives in your mailbox.

Will viruses be removed from incoming emails?
Yes. The Anti-Spam appliance also has an Anti-Virus checker built-in. Any email containing a virus is deleted. An additional bonus is the Anti-Virus software and the Anti-Spam software are updated hourly.

How will I know if any spam was removed?
After reading other pages on this site, the best answer to that question is that you will receive an email that has the [Bulk] message in the subject line or you will receive an email each day around 3:30pm CST if any mail has been quarrantined. Both of these will be ways to know if the filters are working. In addition, you should notice a dramatic decrease in the amount of spam that results in your inbox.

What if the filter mistakes a message for spam, can I get it back?
No. Once an email has been determined to be spam, it is returned to the sender with a note explaining that the Anti-Spam appliance has determined that the message was spam. At that point, the sender can contact you and we can help you determine what needs to be done, so that those emails will get through as they should (Whitelist).
